Dina Tourountzas - Head Fitness Staff/ Kinesiologist

As Toronto Ladies Gym’s Head fitness staff, I look forward to meeting all existing and prospective members. I am here to assist you daily with any questions or concerns you may have in regards to your fitness training or the services that we offer, membership fees, facility use etc.
I can promise you that every visit will be friendly and enjoyable, so please feel comfortable when approaching me. With a degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences and competitive experiences from a variety of athletics (such as tennis, soccer, volleyball and badminton),
I can assure you to have the utmost confidence in my abilities. As you work to be your happiest and healthiest self ever, with what Toronto Ladies Gym has to offer, I am openly here to help guide you when in need of assistance.



Melissa Wessel - Learn to Love the Burn!
Elite Personal Trainer, Spinning and Boot Camp Instructor

Melissa Wessel is an energetic and enthusiastic Personal Trainer and Group Instructor with 12 years of experience in the fitness industry, certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).
Melissa has trained as a competitive bodybuilder, participated in three Bodybuilding Shows and received 1st, 4th and 2nd places. For the last six years Melissa worked as an elite trainer in Los Angeles, California. Now she is back in Toronto and is active as a Personal Trainer, Spinning and Boot Camp instructor.
Melissa’s firsthand knowledge as a competitive athlete, combined with extensive coaching experience, is highly regarded by her colleagues and trainees. Melissa makes her classes tough without putting at risk the health and safety of her students. She knows what it takes to get in great shape and maintain it. Her classes are perfectly balanced between strength training, flexibility and cardio-vascular conditioning.
Melissa is passionate in helping women get fit and look and feel their best.


Sharlyn Wilson - Aerobic Instructor

“Challenge yourself”, that’s my motto. I have personally been involved in the fitness industry since 1998, and as a professional in the field, have remained up-to-date with my certifications, workshops, and training. I believe in making healthy life choices and for the past four years have been teaching at various health clubs. Over the years I continually and effectively motivate individuals in achieving their highest potential. Currently, I am teaching Step, Spinning, Body Sculpt, Boxercise, Bosu and Aerobics. My classes are fun, exciting, and definitely challenging as I am for ever creating new combinations and routines. I have maintained a following of participants through consistently delivering a high energy, ever changing, “power house” of a workout. So, all that said, I am challenging you to attend one of my classes. If you don’t enjoy yourself and get a “power house” of a workout, I will personally…Actually, I won’t do anything because I guarantee you will be back for more. SEE YOU SOON!


Vicki Nash
- Aerobic Instructor

I joined a gym for the first time 23 years ago, participated in aerobic classes for the first time, and started working with weights. I loved it! 17 years ago, I obtained a fitness certificate through the Fitness of Ontario Leadership Program. I have been leading classes ever since. I’d love you to join in my classes, no matter what your fitness level. I hope you will feel welcome, whether you are a beginner, or seasoned participant. My goal is to lead a class that will provide you with a good workout, but also a safe workout. I look forward to seeing you at Toronto Ladies Gym.

 


Halyna Internicola - Aerobic Instructor/Personal Trainer.

My name is Halyna. I have been in the Fitness Industry since 1979, the year 1990 I decided to quite my full time office job and head towards the Fitness Field… I found my passion. I obtained my degree as a certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Leader. Can Fit Pro certified, YMCA certified, YMCA Completion conference Women & Weight Program, YMCA Certificate of continuing Education in the Fitness Leader Opportunities.
Fitness is my passion. I believe that physical activity is essential to one’s well being. Exercise is like medicine for our bodies. It brings me great pleasure to see participants showing results and interest in my classes. Enjoy is the key word.



Renee Atchison
– Boot Camp Instructor

Renee’s extensive professional background is a dynamic combination of being a creative talent and a strong athlete. Renee has accomplished a York U B.A. Honours degree specializing in Theatre Studies, a B.A.T.D. Dance Diploma and a Can-fit Pro Fitness Instructor Specialist Certification. Renee has performed and instructed various dance styles and aerobic classes for people of all ages. Her passion for creative and physical movement has guided Renee into leading several fitness classes for prominent clubs, corporate gyms, university gyms, elementary schools and outdoor fitness groups. For the last 3 yrs, she has also worked as the head trainer and co-partner of a Vancouver based Outdoor Boot Camp Company.
Renee is very excited to bring her high energy and enthusiastic personality back to the Toronto fitness community and looks forward to greet you at Toronto Ladies Gym!
